計劃簡介承蒙區百齡慈善基金會的慷慨捐助，香港青年協會於2010年4月首度推出「送米助人」計劃，藉以紓解低收入人士的生活負擔，提供物質支援及關心；同時也讓青年義工協助送發白米，身體力行給予有需要人士支持及關懷，至今已有超過61,000戶有需要家庭受惠。無論是受惠者，抑或參與的義工，都一致表達計劃有助他們發揮正能量。鑒於計劃成效理想、需求甚殷，以及受惠者眾，基金會將繼續資助是項計劃，服務仍覆蓋至全港18區。本年度「鄰舍第一．送米助人」計劃為期一年（2024年4月至2025年3月），成功申請的家庭戶於每月 / 單身戶於隔月(單數月份) 可獲發 5 公斤白米一包。
